Terms & Conditions

1. Making a purchase

The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on directbathroomandkitchen.co.uk. The placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future use. To order goods through this website you must be at least 18 years of age and accept delivery within the UK. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.

WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU DO NOT BOOK PLUMBERS OR CONTRACTORS UNTIL YOUR GOODS HAVE ARRIVED AND HAVE BEEN CHECKED, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY PLUMBERS OR CONTRACTORS COSTS, CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR COMPENSATION IN ANY WAY

Directbathroomandkitchen.co.uk is a mail order company only. Please notify us before you attempt to return goods as this may not be possible until the necessary paper work has been completed.

By using this site, you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use this site. Directbathroomandkitchen.co.uk reserves the right, at any time, to modify, alter, or update these terms of use, and you agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations, or updates on subsequent visits.

Order Acceptance and Processing All orders are accepted when your credit/charge/debit card is processed. Any email or other acknowledgment of your order is merely to report that your request has been received and will be looked at, and does not in any way denote acceptance of your order regardless of any wording on the email. Directbathroomandkitchen.co.uk reserves the right, at any time prior to acceptance, to refuse any order or any part of an order, or to require further or better information to enable it to evaluate and/or process the order.

2. Description of goods

All images, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising on our site are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. All specifications given to the Customer are approximate and intended as a guide only. We always endeavour to ensure all product descriptions are correct, but advise customers to seek technical advice from qualified sources prior to ordering products and any work to be carried out.

3. Special orders

Special orders are hand made to customers own specification and therefore cannot be cancelled. Please bear in mind that as these products are bespoke delivery times may vary.

4. Payment and Price

We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our supplier's prices or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed. We ask that all goods be paid for on completion of order and that all funds are cleared prior to delivery. We accept most major credit and debit cards such as Visa and Mastercard. On the order you must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number - the address and telephone number your credit card bank has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order.

In the event that there is a pricing error on the website then directbathroomandkitchen.co.uk will not be bound to honour any orders made at that price.

Delivery

· Deliveries are limited to local deliveries only.

· We process your order right away. We will normally send your order to you in 3 - 5 business days, this is an All Day delivery, we cannot give you the exact time of delivery. Certain items listed within our web site are not standard stock items and can take longer than the stated delivery time.

· Any delivery date quoted is in good faith, but the Seller (Direct Bathroom and Kitchen) shall not be responsible for any delay in delivery of Goods howsoever caused.

· Customers will be contacted by email to confirm a delivery date (excluding weekends) - we are unable to give exact delivery times.

· On arrival all goods must be inspected carefully for any signs of damage by the customer or agent, should you find any damage please ask the driver to take the goods back with them, or sign the delivery document as damaged, or if you do not have time to inspect properly please sign the document as un-checked.

· Please open all boxes or parcels as soon as they arrive, you have 48 Hours to notify Direct Bathroom and Kitchen of any damage, shortages or incorrect items, if we are not notified of damage, shortages or incorrect items within this time, you agree to indemnify Direct Bathroom and Kitchen in full against any losses we suffer as a result of your failure to notify us within 48 Hours.

· Our Suppliers will only make one delivery, if you are not at the delivery address to accept the delivery a charge will be made to deliver a second time.

· There will be one person per vehicle and for health and safety the driver is only contracted to deliver Kerbside, Delivery inside a customer’s property is at the driver’s discretion.

· For large and heavy items please ensure there will be adequate assistance in helping the driver unload.

· Delivery dates are approximate and no liability is accepted in respect of late deliveries, please do not arrange to install the items until after they have been delivered and checked for damage.

Returns

· If an item is no longer required you can return the item to us within 14 days, please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us or our suppliers unless we have delivered the goods in error or they are faulty.

· There will be a collection charge of £29.99 which will also include the administration charge. The item must be unused and in its original packaging and must be in a resalable condition. Please contact us by email with your order reference number. Once we have received the item, it will be checked and then a credit issued back to your credit/debit card or Paypal account within 3 Working days.

· There will be a 25% re-stocking charge if you are out-with the 14 days plus collection charge. Please also be aware that under no circumstance should goods be returned directly to Direct Bathroom and Kitchen office, unless otherwise advised by us.

· The refund amount will be minus the initial delivery (out-with 14 days) cost and the collection cost. We do not accept products back for refunds after a 30 day period.

· All goods must be returned undamaged and in the original packaging within 14 days.

· If the item is faulty it will be tested before any refund is applied.

· For goods which have arrived damaged you will need to contact us within 48 Hours of receipt of the order.

Your Right To Cancel

Under the United Kingdom's distance selling regulations; you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any of these items within a period of 14 working days, beginning with the day after the day on which the item is delivered. This is called a “14 Day Cooling Off Period”. During this 14 day cooling off period, you have a duty of care for the goods, therefore it is advised that any goods you wish to return are kept in their original packaging to ensure they remain undamaged and in a good condition. Should returned goods arrive back to us or our supplier in a damaged condition, the goods will be returned to you and you will be responsible for the total cost. Please note this will not apply to any goods deemed as Special Order or Made to Order products.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will place the order with our supplier and let you know the estimated delivery date. You will have the option to cancel your order should you wish to do so.

Prices

We retain the right to make adjustments to the pricing on this site to take account of any increase in our suppliers' prices, the imposition of any taxes or duties. Or if due to an error omission, the price published for the goods is incorrect regardless of the status of the order.
